MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Charges have been filed against the man accused of shooting and killing a 3-year-old girl in a road rage incident.

Antonio Bratcher, 39, is accused of shooting into the car 3-year-old Brooklyn Harris was riding in Saturday, July 13.

A criminal complaint says Harris was in the car with her mother, her mother's friend, and three other children under the age of five when the little girl's mother pulled out in front of the suspect's vehicle at 42nd and Townsend. The vehicle was described as a black SUV with pink lettering across the windshield. The girl's mother stopped the car to let the suspect pass and when he didn't pass her, she turned onto 42nd Street. The complaint says that's when the suspect started shooting and the 3-year-old was shot in the head. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A short time later patrol officers saw a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle's description traveling southbound on N. 40th Street and turning east onto W. Galena Street. A high-speed chase ensued which later resulted in a crash near N. 26th Street and W. Galena. Police say the vehicle was tipped on its side and had been abandoned. Investigators say the vehicle had the word "Princess" written in large pink cursive letters across the top of the windshield. They also reported finding a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a pistol magazine with eight unspent cartridges, a single spent .45 caliber casing, and several documents of mail with the suspect's name inside the vehicle.

Officers began searching the area around the crash and found Bratcher hiding under a porch.

Bratcher is facing a long list of charges including first-degree reckless homicide, multiple counts of recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm by a felon, and fleeing or eluding an officer.

Bratcher is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
