Records: Teen charged in connection to death of mother, stepfather now in Waukesha County Jail

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- According to online records, 17-year-old Nikita Casap, who was arrested in Kansas, is now back in Waukesha County. 

The teen was arrested in connection to the deaths of his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer, who were found dead in their home following a welfare check.

He's currently charged with stealing Mayer's car and a handgun

Police say Casap stole the gun and vehicle and took a route through Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado before eventually being stopped in Kansas, where he was arrested. 

More charges could be coming, as several more warrants were ordered Monday, March 10.
