Man convicted in Somers House Tavern shooting sentenced to life in prison
SOMERS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The man convicted in a deadly shooting at Somers House Tavern in Kenosha County was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Rakayo Vinson was found guilty by a jury on three counts first-degree intentional homicide and three counts attempted first-degree intentional homicide back in January.
Authorities say Vinson killed three people and injured three others after a fight at Somers House Tavern in April of 2021.
Officials say he was involved in a fight at the tavern and was eventually removed by staff. He later returned and targeted the victims, killing them.
The three deceased victims were identified as 22-year-old Kevin Donaldson, 24-year-old Cedric Gaston, and 26-year-old Atkeem Stevenson, all residents of Kenosha.
