Man in custody after shooting in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One man is in custody after a shooting in Fond du Lac on Saturday, Sept. 28. 

Police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of 1st and Adams around 8:04 a.m. 

A few blocks away, officers found a 48-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his left leg and left arm on Portland, between Sheboygan and Division. 

According to the Fond du Lac Police Department, an officer began life saving measures. At this time, we do not know if the man survived. 

Around midnight, police say a 39-year-old man turned himself in. 

The investigation is ongoing.
