Man sentenced to 10 years after crash that killed 11-year-old

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sylvester Thomas was sentenced to 10 years in prison after a crash that killed 11-year-old Tyrone Reese.

Thomas pleaded guilty to 2nd degree reckless homicide on Friday, Feb. 23. 

Eleven-year-old Tyrone Reese was hospitalized after being hit by a speeding car while riding his bicycle near Hoyt and Fond Du Lac Avenue Sunday, Aug. 27.

He later died on Aug. 30.

A report from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says the child died of multiple blunt force injuries.
