Man sentenced to life in prison after Washington Park shooting

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man was sentenced to life in prison after a fatal shooting at Washington Park in 2023.

On July 25, 2023, first responders say a man was found dead in Washington Park.

First responders determined the victim was a 22-year-old Milwaukee man, who had been shot multiple times. 

A 20-year-old man, Triston Brown was taken into custody last year. 

Brown was charged with first degree intentional homicide.
