MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Mannheim Steamroller will bring its Christmas tour to the Miller High Life Theater on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m., as the show marks more than 40 years of touring.

The tour was founded by Chip Davis, who released his first Mannheim Steamroller Christmas album in 1984.

"Back then, many in the music industry said focusing on Christmas just wouldn't work," Davis said in a statement regarding the tour. "Now, more than 40 years later, we are still going strong."

The group has sold more than 41 million albums, including more than 31.5 million in the Christmas genre, and has won a Grammy Award. This year's show features 15 musicians playing more than 20 instruments alongside multimedia effects.
