MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Having fun sledding down a Wisconsin hill may seem simple, with little more effort involved than finding a good incline and something smooth to sit on, but there is science involved in maximizing fun when sledding down a hill.
Dr. Chris Stockdale, an associate professor of physics at Marquette University, joined us on Wednesday, Feb. 21 to discuss the physics of sledding, including how to maximize speed.
