OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An early morning fire damages an Oak Creek clubhouse on Saturday, July 4. 

The Oak Creek Fire Department says they responded to the "Residences at Oakview" on Superior Place shortly before 5:00 a.m., where they battled flames coming from the roof.

Due to the extensive fire and lightweight truss construction, the Chief ordered a defensive operation. 

Officials say the fire was brought under control within 15 minutes of arrival. 

There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
