Mayfair, Southridge malls reopen with safety precautions in place
WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Mayfair Mall and Southridge Mall reopened on Wednesday, May 20.
Mayfair Mall opened at 11 a.m. Several people were lined up at stores ready to shop, many wearing masks, but not all.
More than 30 stores are now open. The mall has hand-sanitizing stations and will be handing out masks, but people aren't required to wear them.
"I feel like everybody should get in and get out," Shopper June Harris said. "Get what you got to get."
Mall leaders say it will also undergo frequent and intense cleanings.
