MCSO: Lanes reopen after shots fired report causes I-94 closure, no evidence found

OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office say they received a report of shots fired on the freeway on Saturday, Feb. 8. Dispatch reported that gunshots were being fired from one vehicle to another.
Deputies attempted to locate the vehicles and did a full closure of I-94 northbound at Drexel Ave. to search for evidence.
The lanes reopened around 3 p.m. The sheriff's office says no physical evidence was found, and the freeway reopened after 43 minutes.
The investigation is ongoing.
