MCTS announces route detours due to funeral procession for fallen police officer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Transit System says multiple detours will be in place on Wednesday, August 1 due to the funeral procession for fallen Milwaukee Police Officer Michael Michalski.
The procession is expected to start around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Creek Assembly of God near 13th and Rawson in Oak Creek and will end at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
MCTS says the following bus detours are based on information obtained from law enforcement. Authorities may decide to adjust the closure plan at the last minute for purposes of traffic and crowd control. Bus riders should prepare for possible delays across the system.

- Routes 14, 23, 30-30X, BlueLine & GoldLine
- Routes 40, 43, 46 & 48 PM Flyers
- Routes 44, 49 & 79 PM Flyers
- Route 60
