CBS 58's One Good Thing: Milwaukee Buck Andre Jackson Jr. holds coat drive for kids
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Buck Andre Jackson Jr. is holding his first coat drive at Deer District's plaza.
They'll go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and the Greater Amsterdam School District in New York, where Jackson grew up.
He says it feels good to give back both in Milwaukee and back home.
"I grew up around those kids, in that community, and I was one of those kids, so I know what it feels like to not have the money to be able to purchase something like that," Jackson said. "So yeah, I think it's a blessing."
It began during Tuesday night's game, but coats will also be collected during Wednesday and Friday night's home games.
If you want to help while going to a game, bring new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.
