MPD: 1 dead, 1 injured after shooting near 39th and Florist

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 47-year-old is dead following a shooting that took place near 39th and Florist on Thursday, July 25.

Another victim, a 49-year-old, was taken to a local hospital for injuries that are considered non-life-threatening.

Milwaukee police were called out to the shooting at around 7:41 p.m. on Thursday, and the investigation is ongoing as MPD searches for unknown suspects.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office was called to a scene on Thursday, July 25.

The medical examiner says they were called out for one adult male shooting victim. It happened near 39th and Florist.
