Medical examiner called to homicide near 27th and Atkinson

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County medical examiner was called to a homicide Thursday night, Nov. 11, near 27th and Atkinson.

According to Milwaukee police, it happened at about 8:29 p.m.
A 62-year-old Milwaukee man was shot, and he succumbed to his injuries. A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was also shot. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
The 28-year-old shooting victim and a 29-year-old Milwaukee man were taken into custody regarding the incident.
Charges have been recommended to the District Attorney's Office and are pending.
