Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run near Hopkins and Silver Spring

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 71-year-old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near Hopkins and Silver Spring on Monday, May 11 at around 9 p.m. and died at the scene. The driver fled, according to Milwaukee police.
The victim entered the roadway when a westbound vehicle on Silver Spring struck them.
