MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- There is a flower with so many uses that it gets its own festival in Southeast Wisconsin.

This Saturday, July 15 will be the third annual Falls Lavender Fest in Menomonee Falls.

"I wanted to create something for our community that all of our businesses could participate in," said Layla Obregon the founder of Falls Lavender Fest. "Lavender's very versatile; it’s a color, it’s a flavor, it’s a scent."

There will be over 5,000 lavender products from the common soaps and lotions to uniquely painted furniture with lavender designs.

"Lavender cocktails, lavender services, there’s a studio diffusing lavender, there’s furniture with lavender decor on it," said Obregon.

The festival takes place at Village Park in Menomonee Falls on Saturday.

"We have over a hundred vendors coming in with even more lavender items two live bands, four lavender farms, food trucks," said Obregon.

Lavender Days is also taking place throughout the businesses around Appleton Ave and Main St. all week long leading up to Falls Lavender Fest. You can find unique lavender items and discounts from July 10 thru July 14, 2023.
