Menomonee Falls man sentenced to 4 years for opening fire in Sal's Pub and Grill

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Menomonee Falls man was sentenced to four years in prison Monday, Jan. 22, after opening fire inside a local bar in November of 2022. 

Dylan Breidenbach pleaded guilty in court and was convicted of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. 

Police say Breidenbach fired one round inside Sal's Pub and Grill on Appleton Avenue after he was asked to leave for harassing customers. 

He later returned with a large caliber rifle and fired toward staff and patrons before he was subdued by guests. 

No one was struck by the gunfire. 

Breidenbach's prison sentence is followed by six years of extended supervision.
