MFD: 2 escape house fire near 23rd and Concordia in Milwaukee

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two people escaped a house fire near 23rd and Concordia on Wednesday, Feb. 4, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department.
The fire department responded at around 8 a.m. Wednesday for smoke on the first floor of a two-story house. One person was on a balcony and firefighters used a ladder to reach the roof and bring them down.
Both people in the house got out safely. The fire department contacted the Red Cross to assist them.
No injuries were reported, nor was anyone taken to a hospital.
