MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A new partnership between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miller Brewing Company was announced on Thursday.
Miller was named the official beer of the new Bucks arena by Bucks president Peter Feigin and Miller Brewing’s general manager for Wisconsin, Jim Kanter.
When the arena opens next fall, there will be three Miller bars and a Coors Light Silver Bullet suite. Both Feigin and Kanter said the partnership continues a longtime relationship between the Bucks and Miller.
“It just feels natural that when you walk into the arena in Brew City with the biggest employer of brewery workers, brewery people in Milwaukee that it’s a Miller established area,” Kanter said.
Feigin said the arena is just over 85 percent complete. There is still no word on a naming rights deal.
