MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Competition may be fierce in the booming craft beer industry, but that's not stopping a group of local breweries from coming together to send a unified message about equality.
Six Milwaukee breweries are joining hundreds of others from the country in a collaborative effort to brew "Black is Beautiful" beer from an exclusive recipe. The attempt is to bring awareness to injustices people of color face. Participating breweries donate 100% of the beer's proceeds to local foundations that support police brutality reform and legal defenses.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Cearron Bagenda showed how the beer is raising money and awareness.
