MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We're less than a week to the Bucks' home opener at Fiserv Forum. The game kicks off this Friday, Oct. 23, at 3 p.m. against the Chicago Bulls. And in celebration, the team is spending tipoff week doing some acts of kindness.

Monday, some of the players, top brass and Bango went to Milwaukee Fire Department Station 2 downtown to hang out with the firefighters.

They handed out Bucks gear, some basketballs, and Wendy's gift cards.

"To have our neighbors from Fiserv Forum, the Milwaukee Bucks, come over and just kinda hang out and just be with us, it's just really neat," Chief Aaron Lipski said. "Who does that? Nobody does that, so it was really nice."

Earlier in the day, the team went to the Pieper-Hillside Boys & Girls Club to hang out with the kids. They played lightning together and handed out more Bucks gear.
