Milwaukee Bucks vs. Los Angeles Lakers: Watch the game on WMLW tonight at 9 p.m.
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks are on the road, still on the West Coast. They will take on the Los Angeles Lakers and you can watch the game on WMLW.
Tipoff is at 9 p.m., with coverage beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Milwaukee (41-22) is coming off a blowout loss against the Golden State Warriors, but before that they had won six in a row coming out of the All-Star break helping them climb to second in the Eastern Conference. The Lakers (34-30) have been hit or miss this year currently holding the last spot in the Western Conference play-in tournament.
Friday's game will be a showdown between two of the biggest superstars in the NBA. Giannis Antetokounmpo was the league's leading vote-getter among fans for this year's All-Star game ending a seven-year reign for LeBron James. Giannis and the Eastern Conference went on to win the game too.
LeBron is still playing at a ridiculously high level in his 21st season averaging more than 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists per game while recently becoming the first player in league history to score more than 40,000 points in his career. Giannis is 78th in scoring in NBA history, but he is on pace to eventually join LeBron in the top ten all-time.
This will also be a chance for some of the longer-tenured Bucks to play against a former coach. Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was Mike Budenholzer's top assistant for four seasons, including the 2021 championship campaign.
