Milwaukee Common Council passes lead education resolution

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – If you have lead laterals leading to your house, expect to see that noted in your future water bills.
The Milwaukee Common Council passed a resolution Tuesday that will require Milwaukee Water Works to note on your bill if your home is serviced through a city-owned lead lateral.
The resolution also requires that Milwaukee Water Works mail safety information about lead every year to people who live in homes that get water through lead laterals.
