Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley announces bid for reelection

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley wants to keep his job for another four years.

He announced his bid for reelection Wednesday, Oct. 18.

In 2020, Crowley made history by becoming the first Black person elected to the position.

He says in the last four years, he's helped the county invest in affordable housing options and expand accessibility for opioid treatment and prevention.

The general election is less than six months away, on April 6.
