MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) —The Milwaukee County Parks & The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office announced a safe summer plan to keep parks safe Wednesday.
The county executive, county parks director and Sheriff Earnell Lucas say they’ll be working together to keep the parks safe during the busy season.
Lucas says deputies will be patrolling and will have signs at parks to discourage certain types of behavior.
“We are going to do everything we can to abate any type of disorder or any type of violent behavior in our parks,” said Lucas.
The Milwaukee Police Department will also be part of the partnership.
