MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Zoo is gearing up for a busy season with a two-day seasonal hiring event on March 23 and 29, followed by Egg Day on April 8.
The hiring event, aimed at individuals 16 years and older, will be held at the Zoofari Center and offers a variety of positions including ticket sellers, ride operator, and food & beverage staff. Interested candidates can sign up for time slots at the hiring event and apply in advance online.
Egg Day offers a family-friendly pre-Easter celebration filled with festive activities. Attendees can enjoy an Easter parade, North Shore Bank Safari Train rides, scavenger hunts and animal demonstrations. Other highlights include face painting, chalk art, and performances by Kohl’s Wild Theater. Zoo admission fees apply, with Zoological Society memberships valid for the event.
To obtain more details, we spoke to Jennifer Diliberti-Shea, Public Relations Manager for the zoo on Tuesday, March 28.
For additional information about both events, visit the Milwaukee County Zoo website at MilwaukeeZoo.org.
