Milwaukee Film hosts 2 summer series for Pride and the 2024 Olympics

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Film is hosting two special film series this summer at the Oriental Theatre.
The two series are a Pride Weekend series, and an Olympic Training Camp series.
In honor of Pride month, Milwaukee Film will be focusing on films about the LGBTQIA+ community from June 21-23.
The following films will be played, according to Milwaukee Film:
- Problemista
- Female Trouble
- Tongues Untied
- Black Is... Black Ain't
- Femme
- The Watermelon Woman
- Markie in Milwaukee
In July, Milwaukee Film will be bringing 9 sports films to the theater, to get ready for the 2024 Summer Olympics. The Olympic Training Camp series will begin on July 19 and end on July 24.
The following films will be played, according to Milwaukee Film:
- Major League
- Rad
- Rudy
- Raging Bull
- Happy Gilmore
- Tokyo Olympiad
- Unsyncable
- Chariots of Fire
- Love & Basketball
