Milwaukee Health Department to host 22nd annual Back-to-School Health Fair 🎒
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --Â In an effort to prepare students for a healthy start to the academic year, the City of Milwaukee Health Department has announced its 22nd annual Back-to-School Health Fair.
The event, offering a variety of services and family-friendly activities, is set to be held at Fiserv Forum and the Deer District on Friday, July 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free of charge and open to all, it features routine childhood immunizations, COVID-19 vaccines for eligible individuals aged 6 months and older, health screenings for children and adults and distribution of kids' backpacks with school supplies. Health resources and information will also be provided.
Additional activities include firetruck tours led by the Milwaukee Fire Department, family workouts by Social X MKE's Health & Wellness Pillar and music performances by DJ RC and the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Steel Drum Band.
The Milwaukee Bucks’ Hoop Troop will be present for photo opportunities.
Food will be available from Bebe’s Bistro, The Fatty Patty, Kona Ice and Sweet Crush Ice Cream food trucks at the Deer District.
