MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hispanic Heritage Month officially begins Sunday, Sept. 15, but Milwaukee is starting the festivities early with a city-wide celebration Friday, Sept. 13 at Deer District Plaza.
The event, scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m., will feature dueling mariachi groups, authentic food and drinks and Latino artisanal vendors.
