MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man was sentenced to 32 and a half years in prison Thursday, after pleading guilty to charges of sexual assault and reckless injury.

Scott Dykas was accused of stabbing one woman and sexually assaulting another on Milwaukee's east side.

In July of 2023, prosecutors say Dykas grabbed a woman who was leaving work near E. Park Place and Maryland Avenue. According to a criminal complaint, a struggle began and Dykas stabbed the victim on her right side before fleeing on foot.

In July of 2024, investigators responded to Bradford and Oakland Avenue for a reported sexual assault. The victim told authorities she was walking in the area around 10 p.m., according to the complaint, when a man later identified as Dykas wrapped his arm around her neck and told her to, "calm down, be quiet" before sexually assaulting her.
