Milwaukee man sentenced to 9 years for sexually assaulting students while employed as substitute teacher

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A man charged with sexually assaulting students while employed as a Milwaukee Public Schools substitute teacher was sentenced Thursday, Nov. 21.
Randell Jefferson was sentenced to nine years in prison followed by nine years of extended supervision after a jury found him guilty of the following charges:
- Soliciting a child for prostitution (three counts)
- Child enticement (two counts)
- Exposing a child to harmful material (two counts)
According to a criminal complaint, Jefferson pressured students to perform sexual acts on him on multiple occasions over the course of two years.
Prosecutors say he assaulted multiple victims at Oliver Wendell Holmes School, offering them money or gifts in exchange.
