Dr. Kimo Ah Yun elected president of Marquette University
(MILWAUKEE) For more than a century they’ve plucked a tune like no other. The Milwaukee Mandolin Orchestra is the oldest fretted-instrument music organization in the United States. Organized in 1900, the group consists of both amateur and professional musicians performing a repertoire of a wide variety of string compositions including traditional American mandolin music as well as classical, modern, Italian and Latin pieces.
