MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Night Market returns to the Westown neighborhood in downtown Milwaukee on Wednesday, June 26. The first event will feature 120 local vendors, artists and performers along West Wisconsin Ave.

The 2024 Night Markets will take place over the course of four Wednesdays: June 26, July 24, Aug. 14 and Sept. 11 from 5 to 10 p.m. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the event.

A sense of community and unique atmosphere are two things that the market aims to deliver, according to Stacie Callies, Executive Director of Westown Assocation. She noted in a Monday, June 24 press release, "We are so excited to welcome thousands of locals and visitors alike to experience the unique environment and special community that the Night Market creates on West Wisconsin Ave."

Among the activities to deliver that vibrance include handcrafted goods, unique art pieces, and a variety of food options from local restaurateurs. Interactive activities and live performances will also be available, with the goal of delivering fun for all ages.

The Kohl’s Entertainment Zone will feature live performances and DJ sets. During the June Market, Non-Pop! will take over the entertainment zone, featuring Higher Education Records and other local acts.
