Flight for life called for 53-year-old man following farming accident in Dodge County

HUSTISFORD, DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office along with the Hustisford Fire Department said Flight for Life had to be called for a 53-year-old man that got injured in a farming accident on Sat. June 21. 

Officials responded to the incident shortly after 9:30 a.m., near W5195 State Highway 60 in the town of Hustisford.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says they helped free the man trapped underneath a skid steer. 

The Hustisford Fire Department says the man was unconscious and pinned in between the bucket arm and the body of a compact articulating loader. 

The man was freed from the skid steer by Fire Department personnel and transported by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene was the Hustisford Fire Department and First Responders, Iron Ridge Fire Department, Neosho Fire Department, Hartford Paramedics and Flight for Life.
