Milwaukee officials: 1 dead in crash involving semi near 32nd and Fond du Lac

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 65-year-old man is dead following a multi-vehicle crash near 32nd and Fond du Lac on Tuesday, April 20.

Milwaukee police were called to the scene just before 11:15 a.m.

Officials say while attempting to pass a tractor-trailer -- between the trailer and a parked Milwaukee County Transit System (MCST) bus -- a vehicle collided with the semi, pushing the trailer into the eastbound lane where it collided with another vehicle

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office was called to the scene. An autopsy on the victim is scheduled for Wednesday.

According to MCTS, no one on the bus was hurt.

An investigation is ongoing.
