Milwaukee Police Department welcomes new officers

MILWAUKEE-48 recruits officially became officers with the Milwaukee Police Department during a graduation ceremony Monday afternoon.
Seven were police aides before entering the academy.
Another seven are military veterans.
A half dozen are continuing a family tradition in law enforcement.
Two recruits are from Serbia.
