Milwaukee police investigate 4 separate shootings in 48 hours
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating four separate shootings that occurred in the city over the the weekend.
According to police, the first shooting happened Sunday, April 5, near Townsend and Palmer Streets around 10:30 p.m. Police said a 27-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot and seriously injured. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police are seeking a known suspect in the investigation.
The second shooting happened Sunday, April 5, near North 17th and Nash Streets, around 11:20 p.m. A 31-year-old Milwaukee man suffered a non-life threatening injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police are seeking a motive and suspect.
The third shooting occurred Monday, April 6 near North 40th and Burleigh, around 12:45 a.m. Police said a 21-year-old man was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. Police are seeking an unknown suspect.
The fourth shooting happened Monday, April 6, near Holton and Meinecke, around 4 a.m. According to police, a 36-year-old Milwaukee woman sustained a non-life threatening injury and transported to a hospital for treatment. Police are seeking a motive and a suspect.
