MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A disturbing video has been circulating social media in Milwaukee showing a man threatening to shoot women and children. 

The video is disturbing and includes offensive language. Viewer discretion is advised.

Milwaukee Police have been receiving hundreds of tweets about the video each day and responded on Thursday. 

In two tweets Milwaukee Police said the video was first reported on August 17. Investigators believe the video was made in Georgia, but was posted over a year ago.

Milwaukee Police are still investigating.

1.) Regarding the video many have tweeted to @MilwaukeePolice. It was reported to MPD on 8/17/17. Investigators believe it was made in GA.
