Milwaukee police release dashcam footage from deadly shootout between officers, homicide suspect

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police released new dashcam and body camera footage from an officer-involved shooting Monday, Oct. 31. 

Back on Sept. 2, officers noticed a driver in a stolen truck matching the description of Ernest Terrell Blakney. He was wanted for the murder of Nikia Rogers.

Police chased the suspect from the Mitchell Park area all the way downtown.

Officials say the suspect got out of the truck armed with a gun near Juneau and Edison and was killed in a shootout with police. 

The Milwaukee Area Investigative Team and Oak Creek Police Department are investigating this incident.
