MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Body camera footage of a deadly police shooting on Oct. 4 has now been released.

Video shows Milwaukee police officers arriving to a home on 68th and Hope. They see three victims, including one who had already been shot multiple times, running away from the home by jumping off a second-story porch.

After they were moved to safety, the suspect appeared on the porch and was told by officers to drop his gun. When he didn't, an officer shot at him.

The suspect ran back inside, and after attempted negotiations with him, officers went inside to find the man deceased from a gunshot wound. Police say on Oct. 7, the medical examiner's autopsy report determined the officer's gunfire fatally struck the suspect.

No officers were hurt, but the victim who was shot earlier was taken to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The officer who discharged his weapon is a 28-year-old man with over three years of service. He was placed on administrative duty.

The Milwaukee Area Investigative Team is investigating the incident. The Brookfield Police Department is the leading agency.
