Milwaukee police searching for suspect who shot man while he was sitting in his vehicle

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are searching for the suspect who shot a man as he was sitting inside his vehicle.

It happened around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday near 48th and Garfield.

According to police, the suspect drove past the 35-year-old victim and fired several shots into the vehicle.

The victim was struck once.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
