Milwaukee Police searching for suspects after man shot near Sherman and Garfield

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating an early morning shooting.

It happened around 4 a.m. near Sherman and Garfield.

According to police, a 43-year-old man was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. 

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.

Milwaukee Police say they are searching for an unknown suspect.
