MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Pride, Inc. announced its headliners for PrideFest, Wisconsin's largest LGBTQ+ event in a press release on Friday, April 28.

The event will take place from June 1-3 at Henry Maier Festival Park.

The lineup includes Canadian musician Peaches, Australian-American singer Betty Who, magician Murray Sawchuck, Milwaukee-based DJ Shawna and more. This year's event marks the 35th edition of PrideFest.

Wes Shaver, Milwaukee Pride President and CEO, commended the entertainment team when quoted in the press release, particularly Director of Entertainment Mark Gerber, for their hard work in creating a diverse and dynamic lineup despite challenges.

Gerber expressed his excitement for the 2023 festival, saying, "We reach for the stars as a team, and to see the smiling faces on the patrons is an amazing feeling, that alone makes the year-round effort so worth it."
