Milwaukee Public Market swinging into spring with the Dinky Links golf course

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Public Market is preparing to putt into warmer weather with a miniature golf adventure.

The market's well-known Dinky Rink is being repurposed for springtime as Dinky Links, aiming to offer a compact and imaginative mini golf course. Located on the north side of the market at 400 N. Water St., it features five holes and a dedicated practice green.

"At the Milwaukee Public Market, we believe in the power of public spaces to bring people together and foster meaningful connections," Paul Schwartz, Executive Director, said in a Wednesday, May 22 press release.

Dinky Links is open through Sunday, June 30. Players must register in advance due to limited availability. A $20 donation to First Tee of Southeast Wisconsin, a youth development organization that utilizes golf to help empower teens and kids locally, secures a one-hour session for up to 15 people.

All necessary equipment is provided at no additional cost and can be picked up at the Milwaukee Public Market office on the second level.
