Milwaukee resident dead after a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on Highway 67

Town of Delavan, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 24-year-old male Milwaukee resident is dead after a motor vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Highway 67 near the intersection of Highway 50. 

The incident happened on Thursday, May 15, around 5:56 p.m. The Town of Delavan Police Department and emergency personal was dispatched.

Despite life-saving efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver, a 55-year-old male from Williams Bay, remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation. 

The Walworth County Sheriff's Office Crash Team was requested to perform a reconstruction of the accident to aid in the investigation.

The Town of Delavan Police Department extends their appreciation to "the good Samaritans who stopped to render aid, provided statements and supported first responders at the scene," in a press release.
