Tazren LaCrosse MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A Milwaukee woman is asking for your help to find her mother, Alida LaCosse, after she says she went missing on Tuesday.
"I just really want my mom to come home," said Tazren LaCosse, Alida LaCosse's daughter.
Tazren says Tuesday was like any other morning as she left for work and said goodbye to her mom.
"I just said, 'OK, Mom, I'm getting ready to go to work.' She said, 'Have a good day at work,'" said Tazren.
She says her mom left for work shortly after in her gray SUV, and Tazren hasn't seen or heard from her since.
"Please keep an eye out for my mom because she’s an amazing individual, and she has never done anything bad in the community, and I just really want her to come home," said Tazren.
She says her mom, Alida LaCosse, is 57 years old and lives with her.
She says Alida taught as a music teacher in Milwaukee and the Madison area for more than two decades.
"My mom is the only person that really is here for me," said Tazren. "She is amazing to the Milwaukee community. She has multiple awards, and she has been the only person that has been here for me."
Tazren says nothing seemed out of the ordinary leading up to her mother's disappearance.
She says she filed a missing person report with the Milwaukee Police Department and continues to hand out fliers around her neighborhood.
"We are confused and scared and concerned about her whereabouts," said Kieara Hilton, a family friend. "We don’t know what happened to her. We just really want to find her."
CBS 58 reached out to the Milwaukee Police Department for more information and hasn't heard back yet.
