Milwaukee Woman Wounded in Early AM Shooting

A Milwaukee woman in her mid-20s was shot early Tuesday morning.  She is expected to survive her injuries.  According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the shooting occurred around 3:30 AM in the area of S 11th Street and W Greenfield Avenue.  The situation surrounding the incident is not clear and is continuing to be investigated by the Police, who are attempting to identify a suspect.  The woman was taken by a private party to a local hospital for treatment of her non-life threatening injury.
