MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Jordan Dechambre of the Historic Third Ward Association joined us on Monday, Sept. 9 to preview some upcoming events in Milwaukee’s Third Ward for the remainder of September.
The Riverwalk Commons Concert Series will feature performances by Learning to Fly and Radio, Radio, scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 10 and Sept. 24. The series includes live music and food trucks.
Fromm Pet Fest and Riley’s Block Party will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21, offering activities such as dock diving, agility courses and a Doggie Dash at Henry Maier Festival Park.
Doors Open Milwaukee, set for the weekend of Sept. 28-29, will provide behind-the-scenes tours of various city locations, including Next Act Theatre and Skylight Music Theatre.
September also marks the beginning of the theatre season, with Next Act Theatre presenting "The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Diety" and Milwaukee Chamber Theatre featuring "An Iliad."
Friday Night Lights on the Hoan Bridge will conclude on Friday, Sept. 27, with themed light shows viewable from the Milwaukee Sail Loft and Erie Street Plaza.
