More than 100 artists from 9 states to fill Deer District with art this weekend during annual Morning Glory Art Fair
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's the 49th annual Morning Glory Art Fair. For the last few years, the event has taken place on the plaza at Deer District. This year, you'll find artists from nine states showing off their illustrations, jewelry, wood craftsmanship and more.
The event goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Ann Wydeven is a ceramics artist who has been showing her art at the fair since the beginning. She creates garden ornaments and pots that feature hand-drawn artwork.
"Each one is different," said Wydeven. "Sometimes they can take many hours depending on the shape, because as I’m drawing, it’s not like a sheet of paper, I'm moving the pot around. So, it’s a labor of love."
Of the 128 artists, some are returning, and others will be selling their work for the first time.
